    I have previously complained about ignoring my emails where I have had to email them repeatedly to get a response. Leaving a telephone message also appear to be ignored

    I attended gateway H for a procedure and found all the staff from reception to discharge to be extremely professional, courteous & friendly. They made a fairly stressful experience much more bearable & I was kept fully informed every step of the way. The department was very clean & I wouldn't hesitate to have a procedure there again. The only drawback was that the list was running late but again I was kept informed of this. 10 out of 10

    I had a total hysterectomy - Gateway G - The theatre staff and recovery were very good. All introduced themselves could not have been friendlier or more helpful at putting me at my ease.

    On May 31, I was scheduled to have surgery at Tretment Center, Day Unit Surgery. Unfortunately, the procedure was canceled because the nurses and the doctor did not properly prepare the procedure. They didn't check my blood results or review my history. I waited 3 hours for the decision, then I was sent to another ward, where I was left without any treatment or medications. I was not offered another date, another alternative. I have been begging my GP for surgery for the last 2 years and now I am left alone with my problems.

    I had a Sigmoidoscopy procedure today at Gateway H and felt quite nervous on my arrival. However I just had to say that I was immediately put at ease by the professionalism and friendliness of all the staff from the receptionist on arrival to the nurses, the Endoscopist and to the nursing staff in the recovery and discharge room. Each person involved explained every stage of the procedure fully and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. The whole department had a calming atmosphere and I felt comfortable and cared for. Well done NHS, you are second to none.

    Since my diagnosis in November, I’ve been receiving treatment at gateway E and support from the IBD team at gateway I and I just want to say a huge thankyou. The support has been fantastic and I just want to express my appreciation to the lovely people who provide the amazing care they give. They’ve supported me to understand my illness and been there on hand whenever I’ve needed support. Thank you so much x

    Went to Gateway G, had a procedure and would just like to say what a brilliant job you are doing, from the nurses that greet you and make you feel welcome to the anaesthetic who tells you exactly what's going to happen, the lovely gentleman who takes you to theatre who puts your mind at rest and the wonderful medical team in the room, I can't praise you enough, you are worth your weight in gold xxx

    I went for day operation under GA at Gateway G, the staff from start to finish were lovely, explained everything really well. The theatre staff were incredibly calm and patient. The anesthesiologist made me very comfortable, even though I was anxious at first, he was lovely and put me at ease, even had me laughing. Unfortunately there were complications afterwards and ended up staying overnight. I can't thank the staff enough in recovery. The gentleman who took care of me was amazing and so caring. Then the staff and facilities on the surgical short stay ward was amazing. Can't thank the staff enough. The NHS are amazing!!!
